Chakib has first-hand knowledge of Canadian, Caribbean and West African commercial aviation, as Captain (Jazz, Sunrise Airways, Senegal Airlines, the Ivory Coast Government…) and as Ops manager in several airlines with experience in various air services: VIP, Military, Medevac and Regional Airlines.
Having started off as an advertising executive during 10 years in advertising agencies and marketing companies, Chakib brings innovative marketing techniques and airline expertise to WestAF.

RICHARD POWELL

Co-Founder

Richard has worked in the aviation sector for over 30 years for world renowned companies such as Eurocontrol, NATS (UK), Dubai Airports, and DSNA (France), Airbus, the European Commission and many others. Richard excels in building high performance teams across borders. He has managed Air Traffic Management Programmes of up to $1.5bn in value and delivered an award winning project to the European Commission with 20 partners spread over 10 countries.

In the past few years, Richard has managed projects in the UAE, South East Asia and South Africa, before returning to the UK to manage a VR and AI flight training programme.
